- iMeter Reader supports electricity, gas, and water meters with digital or analog displays. The OCR engine works with both numeric roller displays and LCD screens.
- Yes. iMeter Reader is offline-first. All meter readings, contracts, and history are stored locally on your device. An internet connection is only required if you choose to use optional cloud-based AI features.
- Only if you explicitly activate the optional AI features (OCR via OpenAI, contract analysis). Core meter recording works entirely on-device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- No. Neither iMeter Reader nor any of our sub-processors uses your images, files, or content to train AI models. This commitment is legally binding and documented in our Privacy Policy §16.5.
- iMeter Reader is currently available on iOS (iPhone and iPad). Android, macOS, and Windows versions are in development.
- The on-device OCR achieves high accuracy under normal lighting conditions. You can always review and correct the recognised value before saving.
- Yes. You can add as many meters as you need (electricity, gas, water) and assign them to different contracts or properties.
- Core features are free. Optional premium features, if introduced in the future, will be clearly labelled and priced.
- All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete individual records within the app, or remove all data by deleting the app. For data held by sub-processors, see the Privacy Policy for contact details and retention periods.
